Mirror Mirror on the wall. When you look in the mirror what do you see? Is it a person you like? Is it a person you love? Is it a person you can trust? Would you be friends with the person you see?
It has been good for ME.
There was a time when I looked in the mirror that I did not like what I saw. I did not like her. I did not love her. I would probably have been frenemies with her, which means I did not trust her. WOW!!!!
It has been good for ME.
The world has been turned upside down and there is more uncertainty than there is a surety. This has been good for ME. I have had more time to look her in the mirror, turn the spotlight on, and oh boy have I found more than I expected.
The good news is today I like, love, and trust her. She is a confidant that can be trusted. It has been good for ME.
This time has shown that while I like, love, and trust her; she still has more to grow. I love it when I talk in 3rd person (smile).
She needs to learn that it is okay to make a mistake. Get back up. She needs to acknowledge that she does not know it all and it is okay to ask for help. This girl who says she loves Jesus needs to know that there will be times that she does not think God hears her prayers.
It has been good for (her) ME. Smile
It is my hope that by this time next year, the new normal will be normal, that I have lost my goal weight, that I am closer to being debt-free, and my walk with Christ is represented in a way that I will still say IT HAS BEEN GOOD FOR ME!
