This is just a SEASON: Wait Well and Become Her Again

There’s a quiet truth that brings comfort when life feels uncertain: this is just a season.
It won’t always look like this. It won’t always feel like this. The waiting, the wondering, the becoming—it’s all part of God’s divine process of preparing you for what’s next.
The Word says,
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles…” (Isaiah 40:31).
Waiting isn’t passive—it’s an act of faith. It’s trusting that God is still working behind the scenes even when you can’t see it. But how you wait matters. You can wait weary, or you can wait well.
Wait Well
To wait well means to embrace this season with grace. It’s choosing to rest instead of rush, trust instead of worry, and grow instead of grumble. It’s whispering to your soul, “God’s timing is perfect, and I am safe in His plan. Use this time to pour into your relationship with Him. Journal your prayers, take quiet walks, and spend moments in gratitude. Let Him remind you that delay is not denial—it’s divine development.
Love and Forgive Yourself
While you wait, be kind to yourself. Forgive the woman you were when you didn’t know better. Love the woman you are right now—flawed, healing, growing, glowing. And speak life over the woman you are becoming. Remember: you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Designed by God with intention, purpose, and beauty. Don’t let comparison rob you of contentment.
Choose the Best Version of You
—with God’s Design in Mind
Choosing the best version of yourself doesn’t mean striving for perfection—it means aligning with God’s design.
Ask yourself:
What does the healthiest version of me look like—spiritually, emotionally, physically?
How can I honor God through my habits, mindset, and relationships?
Start with small acts of obedience and self-care. Nourish your body. Read His Word. Journal your growth. Celebrate your progress.
Self-Care & Dating Yourself
Yes, even if you’re dating—keep dating yourself! Take yourself to breakfast, buy yourself flowers, and create moments that remind you of your worth. You are not waiting for someone to complete you—you’re waiting to share your completeness with someone who honors it.
Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s stewardship. When you take care of yourself, you’re better equipped to pour into others.
Laugh Often & Build Community
Don’t isolate while you wait. Stop hiding your light. There are women who need your story, your laughter, your faith. Find community with others who encourage you to grow, pray with you, and remind you that you’re not alone. Life is lighter when shared with women who uplift instead of compete.

Final Encouragement
You don’t have to rush the process. You don’t have to prove your worth. God is writing a story that will make sense in time.
So breathe. Laugh. Rest. Love yourself deeply. Wait patiently on the Lord, and while you wait—live well.
Because this season isn’t punishment, it’s preparation. And when your time comes, you’ll rise renewed, radiant, and ready.
Affirmation for Today:
I am fearfully and wonderfully made. This season is shaping me, not breaking me. I choose to wait well, love myself, and trust God’s perfect timing.
